The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has joined his ancestors.
He was aged 93.
Reports said he died at the University College Hospital (UCH) in the early hours of Sunday during an illness.
His death was confirmed by one of the top high chiefs of the late traditional ruler.
Recall that Oba Adetunji’s wife Kudirat Aduke died on December 21, 2017, about a year after her husband, the then High Chief Saliu Adetunji succeeded the former Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Samuel Odulana, who passed away January 20, 2016.
