Messi Ballon Dor

Lionel Messi has added the Ballon d’OR to his cart, making him the first player in history to win the highly coveted award for the seventh time. Not surprisingly, an elated Messi receiving the golden ball, turned to fellow contender Lewandowski and said,

“It’s an honour to compete with you Robert. You deserve your Ballon D’Or. Last year, everyone was in agreement to say that you were the big winner.”

The Argentine forward and former Barcelona star also expressed joy and satisfaction in seeing that he could achieve his objectives.

In his words, Lionel Messi said :

“Today I’m here in Paris. I am very happy, really very happy, I really want to continue to fight and reach new objectives. I don’t know how many more years but I am really enjoying myself. I thank my team-mates at Barça, Paris & Argentina”.

Although many had thought Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich and Germany team would be handed the Ballon D’or for 2021. However, the reverse was the case as Messi snatched the award by 33 points.
